That’s too cute to be a camera bag!

For someone who loves clothes, accessories and everything that involves shopping, I can’t believe I never thought outside the box when it came to my camera bag. I got tired of carrying around a bulky and ugly bag that just screamed, “I’M A CAMERA BAG.”

What I really wanted was a camera bag that looked more sophisticated and stylish; something that was more discrete but still offered the much-needed protection I’ve come to expect in a camera bag. Recently, one of my friends suggested I take a look at the Kelly Moore Bag Line and I am so grateful that she did! I immediately asked for a Kelly Moore Bag for Christmas and started doing some research on all the amazing bags out there.

So here it is: a list of my favorite fashionable, functional camera bags to share with you. And as an extra bonus: most of them are designed by photographers, too!

Kelly Moore Bags

Wearing a Kelly Moore Bag really makes me feel like an upscale photographer. These elegant and functional bags are available in multiple colors, shapes and sizes. All of these bags stand up on their own which I thought was great too! I received the Kelly Boy Bag for Christmas. This bag fits a SLR, 2 Lenses and my laptop perfectly! The Classic Bag is the most popular for women.

Ketti Handbags

Ketti Handbags are all crafted by designer Ketti Phillips. These bags are fun, bold, and very popular; only one style is in stock right now so you have to get on the wait list! I love these bags because of the different patterns and relaxed, cute look to them. The perfect photographer’s vacation bag!

Emera Bags

If you want a camera bag that looks most like your classic purse, then an Emera bag is for you! You can choose from Original Quilted or Classic Canvas style. Perfect for a quick shoot while you’re running around the city.

Shutter Sisters Camera Bags

After working on creating their line for almost 2 years, Shutter Sisters Camera Bags are just about to launch. They are functional, stylish, and look substantially durable, too.

Join their mailing list to find out when they will be available.

Nicole Michelles “Ashley” DSLR Bag

Nicole Michelles makes all sorts of hand crafted bags. Her camera bags come in different patterns and are really cute and casual. I think these are great as an easy, casual bag.

Porteen Gear

These bags are for the real designers out there that want a fully customizable look. At Porteen Gear, you can design your own camera bags with a mix of leather and fabric. Plus cute fabric camera straps will be available soon!

SLR Sloops from Photojojo Store

This messenger bag is more for the adventurous, destructive photographer. These bags are water repellent, fade-proof and easy to clean. The messenger bag style is great for those who don’t want to carry a purse-like bag.

Janine King Designs Camera Bags

The wide array of prints and patterns allows you to really pick out the camera bag that most reflects your own taste. Each bag is hand made by the husband and wife team of Janine King Designs. Different sizes available, too.

Jille-E Camera Bags

Jill E camera bags come in pretty much any shape or size you are looking for. My favorite is the leather rolling camera bag because it holds so much. One person said they were able to comfortably hold 2 Nikon DSLRS, 4 lenses, a speedlight, Lightsphere, Holga, Diana, Lomo and a 15’ laptop.

ShootSac Lens Bags

I couldn’t leave ShootSac Bags off my list even though it’s technically not a camera bag. The ShootSac is a comfortable lens bag that you wear during your shoot. It holds 3-6 lenses and other shooting accessories safely and conveniently. They offer color covers to customize your bag and make them more you. These bags are great for shoots that require carrying a lot of equipment at all times.
